President & CEO

Jeanette Brown, Girls Inc. of SE Wisconsin

  • For more than 25 years, Jeanette Brown has been committed to service within the non-profit sector, championing the empowerment of girls and young women in STEM. As the Founder of Girls Inc of SE Wisconsin and the Visionary of the GEMS (Girls Empowered by Math & Science) Conference since 2012, Jeanette has played a pivotal role in breaking barriers and fostering equity in STEM education.
  • In addition to her role as the CEO of SAFE Haven of Racine, an emergency youth shelter, Jeanette actively serves on several community boards, including the Racine County Food Bank and Fight to End Human Exploitation.
  • Jeanette’s leadership is underscored by a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in Non-Profit Management, grounding her in effective organizational governance. Her mission to empower girls to be “Strong, Smart, and Bold” is realized through the GEMS Conference and ongoing initiatives that prioritize early access to STEM education, guidance, and sustained support.
